I’ve been pounding protein shakes before and after workouts for as long as I can remember, but is there really an “anabolic window” after your workout?

Since I first did a dumbbell bicep curl as a wee sprout there was Whey.

I’ve been preaching the importance of peri-workout nutrition to friends, family, and clients alike for years…

However, it is looking like the tried and true beliefs of the fitness realm are changing once again.

Last month some really smart researchers and trainers  (Adam Bornstein and Alan Aragon) that I follow re-reviewed the research published on post-workout meals and the perceived benefits. You can read about their input here:
